You won’t always feel ready. That doesn’t mean you should stop. Because feeling off doesn’t mean you’re off track.

Some days don’t go your way.

Yesterday was one of those days for me.

Several disappointing news, all within the same 24 hours.

It would have been easy to react.

To stay in it.
To overthink it.
To let it define the rest of the week.

Instead, I stepped back.

I stayed off social media.
I went for a long walk.
I went to bed earlier than usual.

Nothing dramatic. I just needed space.

Today, while I write this newsletter, I’m still not at 100%. My head feels heavy.

But I’m moving forward anyway.

That’s the part most people misunderstand.

You don’t need to feel ready to continue.

You don’t need perfect clarity.
You don’t need full energy.
You don’t need motivation to return.

You need willingness.

The willingness to show up again.

To take the next step, even if it feels slower.
Even if it feels less sharp.
Even if it feels incomplete.

Progress is not built on perfect days.

It’s built on days like this.

Days where you could stop… but you choose to continue.

Not with intensity. With steadiness.

There’s a difference between being off track and being temporarily affected.

Most people confuse the two.

They feel low, so they assume they’ve lost momentum.

But momentum doesn’t disappear that easily. It pauses.

And it resumes the moment you return.

What matters is not how you feel in the moment.

It’s what you decide to do next. One step at a time.

And that’s enough.

Over time, those returns become a pattern.

And that pattern becomes reliable resilience.

The kind that doesn’t depend on mood.

The kind that keeps you moving, even on days that don’t feel right.

Ask yourself:

Can I continue even if I don’t feel ready?
What is the smallest step I can take today?
Am I stopping… or just slowing down?

You don’t need to feel strong today to continue.

You just need to return.
